Share an Easy Almond Mandarin Orange Salad
Updated: Dec 13, 2020
Ideal for summer, this salad is not only fresh but very healthy and delicious.
A different citrus experience, with a secret ingredient.
Today, I would like to share with you some of the healing benefits of the mandarin oranges. Mandarin oranges and mandarin orange peels are a great source of Vitamin A and C. Both, the fruit and peel, are excellent in fighting arthritis, because of their high levels of antioxidants.
The mandarin orange peel is considered an excellent antiaging because of its high content of Vitamin A, which also helps with acne and other skin diseases. It contributes to protect the skin and other parts of the body in staying youthful.
On the other hand, the vitamin C in the fruit and peel supports the production of collagen in the skin. Collagen is the protein that makes the skin looks much younger.
Besides, the mandarin orange peel helps keeping healthy cholesterol levels in the blood. Enjoy both, the mandarin orange fruit and peel, in your favorite dishes like salads, rice, meat. It is a great ingredient to add to vinaigrettes, too. Try the mandarin orange peel recipes of @flaviashealthykitchen, or simply peel and enjoy with love!
